Why did you become a travel business owner?

I used to book my own holidays directly or often just book package holidays through large travel companies, not even realising that commission was built into every holiday I booked! 
Now I book the same holidays myself through my own booking systems for my clients and myself meaning that I am the one that is earning that commission back. 
 
I chose a business model with uncapped earning potential in one of the most exciting and exclusive industries in the world - travel.  Now I earn from holidays I book form myself and others, and from showing others how to do the same. Building freedom, flexibility and financial growth.

Our host agency Inteletravel, are the largest home based travel agency in the UK and worldwide. Inteletravel is over 30 years old and is a proud member of ABTA and hold their own  ATOL licence. They are partnered with over 80 of the biggest names in travel.

How do you earn commission?

Accepted Answer

Commission is built into every travel transaction you make, whether that's a package holiday, airport parking, staycation or spa break. When you are an Independent Travel Agent,  you are able to earn between 8-20% commission on your bookings.

Commissions are paid 30-60 days after travel has taken place, once the supplier has paid InteleTravel.

Once the host agency has received the commission it is split 70/30 (70% to you & 30% to the host agency) before sending it over to you.

Commissions are paid WEEKLY - every Wednesday.

Once you have earned £3500 in commission you will be rewarded with a 80/20 split - so 80% to you!

There are no targets, no quotas and no fixed hours. You decide when and how much you work. You build it at your own pace.

You'll learn everything you need to confidently create and book personalised travel all while building a business that works on your terms.

No experience is needed. Just a willingness to learn and a passion for travel.

How long does the training take?

The Mandatory training, which covers GDPR, ATOL & ABTA, will take a couple of hours to complete. You don’t need to do this all in one session and can break it down into small chunks to suit you.
Once you have decided which partners you want to book travel   with, their training videos are available to you 24/7 online. Once you have completed their training you are ready to book. 
You have everything on hand to support you through the booking process.

You can book anything that you would normally book online or through a high street travel agent. You can now book through your own platform and earn commission back on every booking.

From luxury escapes to budget holidays, you can book:
*Flights, hotels, cruises and airport parking
*Transfers, car hire, attraction tickets and excursions
*Guided tours, safaris, Lapland, ski holidays
*Weddings, honeymoons and destination events
*UK breaks - from hotels to cottages and lodges
*Theatre tickets, concert tickets and sporting events

*Every hotel chain and holiday type that you can imagine

How do clients pay for their holidays?

Clients pay for their bookings via a secure payment link. You are not responsible for handling any cash.

What if I join and change my mind?

This isn’t going to be for everyone but how will you know if you don’t give it a go?

There’s no contract whatsoever meaning you can leave at anytime so its easy to cancel your enrolment if you ever choose to do so.

We also have a 30 day money back guarantee in place. If it’s not for you, you simply cancel and walk away, if it is within the first 30 days you will receive a refund of your enrolment fee.

I built my client base through friends and family and then recommendations from them to people they knew who were looking for a travel agent they could trust.

Then once I started my instagram and facebook pages I started to book for followers too.

Do I need a big social media following to be successful?

Not at all, I started will 0 followers and have built my following gradually from word of mouth and recommendations.

Everyone loves to travel and everyone loves a great recommendation.

Once you book for a friend or family member, social media follower or work colleague the chances are they’ll tell their friends & family. This is how you’ll get new & repeat business.

I don't live in the UK, am I still able to join?

We initially launched in the USA back in 1991 then in the UK in 2018 and finally  launched in Ireland in February 2023, we also run in Barbados, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Guadeloupe, St Kitts, Nevis, Bahamas, Trinidad, Tobago, Panama, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Belize, Guam, Dominican Republic, Virgin Islands, Turks, Caicos, Micronesia, Mexico and soon to be launching in Dubai.

The travel opportunity works in exactly the same way in all these countries.

As we are in a brand new market in Ireland, and have just hit momentum across the entire company it is the most exciting time to get started!

Do I have to build a team?

There are two separate businesses that work hand in hand.

The travel business - where you book trips and earn commission every time travel is booked.

When you join you are set up with both because that's where the full potential lies. You'll automatically get your own affiliate link and it's completely up to you how often you use it. But everytime someone joins through your link, you open the door to six extra paydays a month.

You have access to up to 10 paydays a month!

There is a one off initial starting fee of:
£156 UK  /  $199.95 USA  /  €187 RI

Then only £46 UK / $59.95 USA / €57 RI  a month, which is payable after the first 30 days of joining and gives you 24/7 access to ongoing training, support, your booking systems and your affiliate link.

There are no tie ins or sales targets to meet, you can book as much or as little travel as you want. Income is uncapped. It is an effort based business so the more work you put in the greater the rewards.
